Hozzávalók 2-3 főre:
- 1 közepes padlizsán
- 1 ek zsír vagy margarin
- 1/3-1/2 kk só
- késhegynyi őrölt fekete bors
- 1 ek tejföl
- 2 gerezd fokhagyma

Eggplant cream recipe is very popular, has many versions and is easy to prepare. Not to mention its dietary aspects: very appealing!! :) I'm sure it would not count as brand new in the history of eggplant cream making, still I am glad to have thought of this version with such a minimal set of ingredients -- imagine how merrier the atmosphere would have been in the kitchen, if it were a truely original idea :D
Ingredients (for 2-3 persons):
- 1 medium size eggplant
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/3-1/2 tsp salt
- a pinch of ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp creme fresh OR sour cream
- 2 cloves of garlic
Preparation :
- Preheat oven at 150-175 degrees (Celsius ;)
- Melt butter in a smaller pan.
- Wash eggplant (do not peel!), cut it lenghtwise, and put it in the pan (do not open it alongside the cut, keep it closed ;)
- Put pan into oven for 45 min.--1 hour.
- When eggplant is soft (but not brown on the inside!) spoon pulp (without skin!) into blender + add all ingredients (salt, pepper, sour cream, mashed garlic).
- Process.
- Serve with crunchy toast :) , or store in fridge in suitable tupperware.
Have a good appetite!
